Research results

The MTHR Programme Management Committee (PMC) is committed to prompt and open publication of research results from the projects supported under the Programme. However, maximum scientific impact will only be achieved by publication in peer-reviewed scientific journals and research teams are strongly encouraged to pursue this at the earliest opportunity. Most journals will not accept material that has previously been published elsewhere (including publication on the internet). The PMC has therefore decided to defer publication of Final Reports on projects until the data have been fully published in scientific journals. The PMC remains committed to disseminating information from the Programme as widely as possible and will publish full Final Reports on the web site as soon as this can be done without jeopardising scientific publication.
