Michael Repacholi is a graduate of the University
of Western Australia (BSc, physics), London University
(MSc, radiation biology) and Ottawa University (PhD,
biology). He is the author or co-author of over 150
scientific publications. He is at present the Responsible
Officer, Radiation Protection and Global Hazards Assessment
at the World Health Organization (WHO) in Geneva, and
has participated in ten WHO non-ionising radiation
task groups. He is an Emeritus Chairman of the International
Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection, Fellow
and Past President of the Australian Radiation Protection
Society and of the Australasian College of Physical
Scientists and Engineers in Medicine. He is also a
Fellow of the Australian Institute of Physics and a
member of the Health Physics Society and of the Bioelectromagnetics
Society.
